Affiliate marketing often centers on tools that solve real problems. GetResponse’s affiliate program, with its choice of recurring or bounty payouts, offers a clear path to ongoing revenue. Sam Enny, a part-time online instructor, used free platforms to generate over $200 each day without spending on ads. This case study breaks down exactly how he did it.
GetResponse splits its affiliate payouts into two options: a 33%recurring commissionon every plan a referral keeps active, and a flat $100bounty commissionper sign-up. Sam combined both: capturing high one-time rewards while building a base of smaller recurring payouts that grow each month.
Sam started by searching Google for "GetResponse review" to see the content that already ranks on page one. He opened three to four top articles, noted common benefits and drawbacks, then drafted his own unique review. By avoiding direct copying and adding fresh angles—like screenshots of the affiliate dashboard—he created a piece that Google would accept as original.
Medium offers free hosting and a built-in audience. Sam signed up, clicked Write a Story, and pasted his 1,200-word review. He sprinkled in his target keyword in the title and subheads, then polished grammar and readability. Before hitting publish, he added five relevant tags—like "Email Marketing," "Affiliate Marketing," and "GetResponse"—to boost discoverability.
Medium restricts direct affiliate links. To bypass this, Sam built a simple Google Site with a clear headline and a single call-to-action button that sent visitors to his GetResponse signup link. He published the site, confirmed it worked in incognito mode, then linked to it from his Medium article three times, each with a compelling CTA like “Click here to sign up for GetResponse Now.”
To get Google to notice his new Medium story fast, Sam used Pingomatic. He pasted his Medium URL into the Blog Homepage and RSS fields, clicked "Check All," then hit "Send Pings." Within days, his article climbed onto page one for "GetResponse review 2022," driving consistent traffic and clicks.
This setup now delivers passive income on autopilot. As long as the article stays on page one, Sam can continue to earn daily affiliate payouts without lifting a finger.
By focusing on a problem-solving product, using free publishing and landing page tools, and pushing for fast indexing, Sam built a low-cost, high-return affiliate funnel. His mix of bounty and recurring commissions shows how diversifying payout models can maximize both short- and long-term revenue.
