Yaasa launched in 2016 with a mission to deliver ergonomic office supplies worldwide. Within a year, the brand expanded from Germany into the US market, but its custom setup—multiple domains, a WordPress content layer, and a bespoke storefront—became a bottleneck. Every new feature or language rollout meant juggling separate codebases and manual processes across seven subdomains and three top-level domains.
Managing content updates and feature integrations across so many standalone sites was time-consuming and error prone. Marketing campaigns in one region wouldn’t sync with another, and deploying new functionality often meant coordinating dev teams spread all over. Meanwhile, bounce rates hovered around industry average and global traffic growth plateaued.
Yaasa teamed up with agency beeclever to migrate every storefront onto Shopify Plus. They centralized all international domains under one admin, set up Shopify’s international sales tools to manage pricing, currencies, and languages, then rolled out Shopify Flow to automate order notifications, inventory alerts, and variant updates. This single-platform approach gave full control over content and domain routing without extra coding.
Post-migration metrics came in fast: a 10% improvement in bounce rate, 50% more global visitors, and time to market slashed by 300%. Customer satisfaction rose too, as shoppers experienced consistent messaging and simpler checkout flows no matter where they were based.
