Snuggle Hunny had a simple goal: sell beautiful, organic baby wraps and outfits around the world without worrying about site crashes or manual localization headaches. By 2023 the old platform was slow, unreliable, and couldn’t handle big promotions or a global audience. The brand needed a system that would flex under load and streamline every step of sale, from currency display to customer rewards.
Before migrating, Snuggle Hunny faced repeated downtime during peak traffic. Big promotions turned into logistical nightmares as their store would glitch at times and payments dropped off. Currency localization for international shoppers was table stakes but kept causing confusion. On top of that, they wanted a loyalty program to keep parents coming back, yet the existing setup lacked the integration to automate points, reviews, or email reminders.
In June 2023, Snuggle Hunny teamed up with Process Creative to switch over toShopify Plus. The cloud-native infrastructure meant automatic scaling when sales spiked, so promotions never knocked the site offline. Within days they set upLaunchpadto schedule flash sales, product drops, and timed campaigns. It was a game-changer for planning without live-event stress.
To boost retention, Snuggle Hunny addedYotpofor reviews and rewards. Parents could leave feedback and earn points toward discounts. Meanwhile,Dotdigitalwas wired into the checkout flow to send automated welcome and cart-abandonment emails. Together these tools cut manual work and deepened ongoing engagement.
With built-in localization and multi-currency features, the brand rolled out to new markets. They no longer needed custom code to show local currency or translate button text. The net effect: international orders climbed from 5% to 15% of total sales within months.
Six months after launch, DTC revenue was up 30% year-over-year. Retention stabilized at 40%, boosting lifetime customer value. The reliable, scalable platform meant the brand smashed its previous daily sales record by 75% during a big promotion in March 2024. More reviews poured in—jumping from roughly 200 to over 5,000—and repeat purchases rose steadily.
