When Deni Sahaya saw that writing articles on Upwork and Fiverr paid just $20–$50 per 1,000 words, she realized something had to change. Rather than trading time for dollars, she decided to package her personal knowledge into a short ebook.
Deni spent two days drafting a 30-page guide based on her life experiences. She skipped the endless planning and jumped straight into writing rough drafts. By focusing on her unique angle—overcoming self-doubt—she produced a concise ebook that resonated with readers.
Instead of publishing blind, she wrote related blog posts to gauge interest. If a post got traction, she expanded it into an ebook chapter. This way she validated each section before investing more time. Readers provided feedback and suggested edits, making the final product stronger.
To hit $500/day, she calculated that selling 18 copies at $27 each would do the trick. She tested prices ending in 7 because it feels less common than .99 endings and invokes the left-digit effect—$17 feels closer to $10. Underpromise, overdeliver became her motto.
Deni mapped out a funnel with awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty stages. Blog posts and social snippets drew in curious readers. Case studies and testimonials built trust. Dedicated landing pages, clear calls to action, and email sequences nudged potential buyers to click buy.
After selling 325 copies in six months, she kept refining her approach. Today her total downloads exceed 27,000 and her daily revenue averages $500. She continually updates content, experiments with new topics, and leverages reader feedback to keep sales steady.
