Pullup & Dip launched in 2016 in Bavaria, Germany, aiming to make training gear that travellers and home users could rely on. The brand’s site ran on Shopware, which proved complex when adding marketing tools or tweaking design elements. Every change required a developer, and checkout bugs left carts abandoned.
Their previous setup meant painful integrations of analytics and email platforms. Usability was limited by separate hosting, outdated design, and slow page loads. Customers hit errors during payment, and the admin panel made even small updates feel like a chore. These issues throttled growth and undermined trust.
Pullup & Dip teamed with PsyCommerce to switch to Shopify Plus, tapping into a cloud solution that hosts directly on Shopify’s servers. They rebuilt the site with a modern theme, streamlined navigation, and high-speed page loads. Integrations for apps like Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Shopify Email went live in hours instead of days. Checkout was migrated to Shopify Payments to remove friction and centralize payment settings.
The migration followed a phased approach: data export from Shopware, theme rebuild on Shopify, app setup, and checkout customization. They tested each stage with A/B experiments, ensuring every tweak had a measurable impact. The modular structure allowed marketing teams to add new campaigns or upsell flows without coding.
Thanks to the switch, conversion rate jumped by 349%, bounce rate dropped by 50%, and sales rose by 48%. Faster design updates and integrated analytics let the team optimize pages on the fly. Users added 53% more items to their carts, and average order value climbed sharply. Checkout errors became a thing of the past.
