In early August 2022, an experienced affiliate marketer partnered with Parimatch Affiliates to launch a gambling offer in Bangladesh using Facebook Ads. With popular markets saturated and CPAs skyrocketing, he chose Bangladesh, a Tier-3 GEO with low competition and cheap traffic. Over 30 days he spent $5,800, drove 22,054 installs, and banked $7,460 in profit at an impressive 128.6% ROI.
Bangladesh is often overlooked by affiliates chasing India or Africa. Yet it has a growing mobile user base and a passion for cricket, which fuels both betting and casino interest. In testing, the affiliate saw that Bangladesh’s cost per install was under $0.30, compared to over $1.50 in saturated markets. That gap alone justified a dedicated campaign.
Foreseeing frequent Facebook account bans in this niche, the affiliate contracted account farmers on Upwork to produce dozens of verified Facebook profiles. Each profile had its own page and payment method, allowing parallel campaigns and quick replacements when an account was flagged. Automatic placements kept the system simple, while geo, age (18–40), and Android-only filters focused the spend.
Early tests with video and text ads failed to deliver. Ultimately the “rich and successful” static image angle resonated. Roughly 1 in 10 images delivered a positive ROI, so the affiliate continually crafted and launched new sets from that theme. Hand−picking winners and spinning off separate campaigns for each high performer became standard practice.
Parimatch offered several default landing options. The affiliate discovered that the casino wheel page outperformed bet-on-sports layouts by 20%. The spinning wheel animated element captured attention, leading to more installs, signups, and eventually deposits.
By August 31, the affiliate recorded 22,054 app installs, 7,045 signups, and 442 deposits at $30 each. Total ad spend and overhead (accounts, servers, domains, salaries) was $5,800. Revenue reached $13,260, yielding a net profit of $7,460 and a 128.6% ROI. The team now treats Bangladesh as a core GEO alongside India.
This case shows that targeting low-cost, high-interest markets with a systematic approach to account management, creative testing, and landing-page selection can unlock profitability where others see risk.
