In early 2024, an anonymous marketer on Blackhat World decided to switch gears. Instead of pushing a standard blog, they experimented with Stable Diffusion locally, crafting a unique female digital persona. Within days, the idea shifted from side project to main focus as they realized AI could power a full social media influencer.
They ran Stable Diffusion on a local machine and used Comfy UI to fine-tune prompts and settings. After around a week of tests, they locked in a consistent face and body type. This consistency made it easy to create new images without breaking the illusion of a real person.
A fresh Instagram account went live. Growth was slow at first – hitting 1,000 followers took nearly 30 days. By tapping Shoutout For Shoutout groups, sharing posts from peers, and keeping a 1:3 exchange ratio, growth accelerated. Two weeks later the next 1,000 arrived, and by three months they reached 10,000.
As content volume rose, daily new followers climbed to 300–500 on Instagram. Some days even topped 1,000. Twitter grew at half the pace but still added 15,000 followers overall. With 50,000 Instagram fans and 20,000 on Twitter, this AI persona had solid traction. Its growth quickly.
Revenue poured in from multiple channels. Patreon brought in $2,500–$3,000 monthly, Fanvue added around $1,000, and a chatbot launch netted $300. Tips from super fans contributed roughly $6,000. In total, the project generated about $25,000 in five months, hitting a quarter of the $100,000 annual goal.
The secret weapon was SFS communities. By joining niche shoutout groups and following their posting rules, the creator exchanged reach with other models. Automating resharing or hiring a community member for outreach (around $20/week) kept the ratio, ensuring consistent visibility and follower gains.
This case shows how affordable AI tools and smart social tactics can build a high-earning digital persona without big budgets. Creators ready to explore AI in social media can steal this playbook: build real-seeming content, network in SFS groups, then layer on subscription products and extras.
